Since 1949, family-owned and operated restaurant serves puffy tacos, spinach quesadillas, shrimp enchiladas, refried beans and rice with margaritas.

Jacala Mexican Restaurant first opened in San Antonio in 1949. It is the oldest originally owned Mexican restaurant in San Antonio. You will always find at least one member of the family's four generations around. Come by for award-winning margaritas and authentic Mexican food, including the restaurant's famous puffy tacos. We are just 10 minutes North of Downtown and the San Antonio Riverwalk.

When to Go

Lunch specials run Monday-Friday, 11am-3pm and margarita specials run until 5pm.
